NASA are due to make another major announcement tomorrow

This one is apparently huge, some are predicting they have found flowing water on Mars, which would probably lead to a manned mission in our lifetime. Either that or it's spiders.

Many millions of years ago Mars might have had a dense atmosphere like ours. It could have had oceans, rivers and lakes of water and a mild climate. Then somehow it lost its atmosphere and all the surface water quickly evaporated, leaving the rest trapped underground only to trickle out briefly as we see now.

Or that's the way it has always been on Mars and it never had an Earth-like atmosphere.

Either way, I think our own planet is much more interesting whatever life we may find on Mars.

It won't make a bit of difference, they'll either ignore it, deny it or find a mistranslated verse in their book and pretend it had been prophesied all along. Blind faith can't be falsified, that's the point of it.

Never read the bible or partaken in God squad ramblings, but if Life on Mars is found in any way shape or form, how does this affect the written word and the beliefs of Millions?
Will they just reinvent the translation to suit?
